Instructions:
Step 1
Gather your supplies
Tip your beads into magic sorting trays or small dishes. This way they are easy to access without them rolling away. Also make sure your jewellery tools and round head pins are easily accessible.
Step 2
Prepare your beads
Before we can do anything, we must prepare our beads. Take each bead and place one on a round head pin. Once you have done this, bend the excess wire of the head pin so that it creates an upside-down L shade.
Using your Side Cutters, snip off the excess wire, leaving a few millimetres of space in order to create a loop.
Now you can take your Round Nose Pliers and create a loop with the small amount of excess wire left.
Repeat this step for your desired number of beads.
Step 3
Linking your beads
In order to start linking your beads, use your round nose pliers to bends one of the loops on your prepared beads. Once you have created an opening you can hook another bead onto it.
Once the bead is hooked, now take one Round Nose Pliers once again and close the opening in the loop.
Once again, repeat this step until your have two separate but equal length chains of beads.
Step 4
Creating your pendant
In order to create your pendant, you will need to take a Flat Headpin and a 5500 bead. Place the bead onto the Headpin and repeat the same steps you took in order to prepare your beads in Step 2.
Repeat this step with your Star bead, but with a Ball Head Pin this time, as well as placing a 4mm Bicone Bead either side of the Star Bead. Using the Ball Head Pin will allow you to attach the two beads together, creating your pendant.
Step 5
Adding your pendant
Using your Round Nose Pliers, open up a jump ring. Now place one of the bead chains onto the ring, then your pendant, and finally your other bead chain.
Now you can close the jump ring.
Step 6
Final touches
To finish off your necklace, create a short chain of jump rings and attach it to one end of your necklace. Then taking a Trace Chain, snip off the clasp with your Side Cutters, then attach it onto the other end of your necklace.
