Instructions:
Step 1
Gather your supplies
Tip your flatback crystals into the magic sorting tray so they are easily accessible. Make sure your wax picker pencil is sharp; this will make it easier to pick up your crystals. Prepare your E6000 glue by squeezing it into your syringe.
Step 2
Map out your flatbacks
Before we begin to glue our crystals, it’s important to map them out, especially when embellishing letters and numbers. It may seem easy but the best way to achieve a smooth application is to plan your placement.
Step 3
Placing your flatbacks
Once you have mapped out your flatbacks, you may now begin applying your E6000 glue. Make sure not to apply too much as they can make your embellishment appear messy.
It’s important to use the correct amount of glue, not too much, not too little. Being able to judge this will become easier with practice.
For our specific shirt we used Sapphire SS30 on the front, then Sapphire SS20 on the back with Crystal Shimmer SS16 to outline.
Step 4
Inspect and adjust
Once you have placed all your flatbacks, it’s a good idea to make sure to inspect your work, this way you’re able to adjust any crystals before the glue sets.
Step 5
Leaving to dry
Now that your crystals are placed correctly, leave your t-shirt to dry for at least 12 hours.
