Instructions
Step 1
Gather your supplies and prepare the glue
Tip your flat back crystals into magic sorting trays so that they are easily accessible. For the bulk of the project, you will need SS20 crystals, so it’s best to start with those and prepare your other sizes later.
Next, make sure your wax picker pencil is sharp. You will also need to prepare your E6000 glue by squeezing it into your syringe.
Step 2
Apply the glue
Apply a thin layer of E6000 glue for your first row of crystals.
The surface of your bottle is both round and slippery therefore you will need to wait around 5-10 minutes for your glue to get tacky before applying your crystals.
Make sure to avoid the Stanely logo, we will come back to this later.
Step 3
Inspect and adjust
Before moving onto the sections that require smaller crystals, make sure to adjust any crystals that may be out of place of glued down incorrectly.
It’s much easier to do this prior to the more detailed sections.
Step 4
Final details
Now that we have completed the largest portion of the bottle, it’s time to move onto the logo and any other space that requires smaller crystals.
For the logo you will need the shade Montana in SS3, SS5 and SS7. Then in the shade Sky Ignite you will need SS5, SS7 and SS9.
Once again apply a small layer of glue and begin placing your crystals.
Step 5
Finishing touches
When you have finished applying your crystals make sure to adjust any that may need it.
Leave your bottle for at least 12 hours to allow the glue to fully dry.
Congratulations you have completed the project!
You can add as many or as few rhinestones as you like, or even follow a pattern or design - it all depends on your personal style.
