Instructions:
Step 1
Gather your supplies
Tip your flatback crystals into a magic sorting tray so they are easily accessible. Make sure your wax picker pencil is sharp; this will make it easier to pick up your crystals. Prepare your E6000 glue by squeezing it into your syringe.
Step 2
Map out your flatbacks
Before we begin to glue our crystals it’s important to map them out, especially when embellishing small shapes likes cherries. You need to allow enough space between each cherry so that it doesn’t look crowded.
Step 3
Placing your flatbacks
You may now begin applying your E6000 glue. Make sure not to apply too much as they can make your embellishment appear messy.
It’s important to use the correct amount of glue, not too much, not too little. Being able to judge this will become easier with practice.
For the cherries, the best way to start is to place a small dot of glue for each red crystal first. Again, make sure you’re leaving enough space for the leaves and between each cherry.
Once you’ve placed your red crystals down, then you can move onto your stems and leaves.
Step 4
Inspect and adjust
Once you have placed all your flatbacks, it’s a good idea to make sure to inspect your work, this way you’re able to adjust any crystals before the glue sets.
Step 5
Leaving to dry
Now that your crystals are placed correctly, leave your clip to dry for at least 12 hours.
Congratulations you have completed the project!
