Instructions:
Step 1
Gather your supplies
Tip your flatback crystals into a magic sorting tray so they are easily accessible. Make sure your wax picker pencil is sharp; this will make it easier to pick up your crystals. Prepare your E6000 glue by squeezing it into your syringe.
Step 2
Check your flatbacks
Before we begin gluing our crystals, make sure the crystals are the correct size for your embellishment. It’s easy to accidentally pick the wrong size.
Step 3
Placing your flatbacks
You may now begin applying your E6000 glue. Make sure not to apply too much as they can make your embellishment appear messy.
It’s important to use the correct amount of glue, not too much, not too little. Being able to judge this will become easier with practice.
For this embellishment we are only using SS5 crystals. This will vary depending on the text on your item.
Allow 5-10 minutes for the glue to get tacky so your flatbacks won’t slide around when placing them.
Step 4
Inspect and adjust
Once you have placed all your Flatbacks, it’s a good idea to make sure to inspect your work, this way you’re able to adjust any crystals before the glue sets.
Step 5
Leaving to dry
Now that your crystals are placed correctly, leave your cap to dry for at least 12 hours.
Congratulations you have completed the project!
